The Milano

The Capri and Sicilia models established Petrini’s sport-focused diver aesthetic; the Milano represents a stylish, dress-oriented alternative that maintains the same principles of clarity, balance, and thoughtful restraint.  

The watch is housed in a meticulously proportioned 39mm stainless steel case, designed to offer an elegant profile, while remaining comfortable for everyday wear. The case features a combination of brushed and polished surfaces that create a subtle contrast of textures, giving the watch both visual depth and a refined presence on the wrist. Its slimmer, more traditional form allows it to transition effortlessly between both casual and formal wear. 

At the heart of the Milano is a reliable automatic movement, powered naturally by the motion of the wearer’s wrist. This mechanical movement reflects Petrini’s appreciation of traditional watchmaking while ensuring dependable performance for daily use. By relying on the natural movement of the wrist, the watch remains both practical and mechanically engaging. 

The dial introduces a more intricate design, while retaining the legibility that defines the Petrini approach. A  silver dial with subtle decorative detailing provides an elegant backdrop for the watch’s complications, including an open-heart aperture that reveals the motion of the mechanical movement. Additional subdials add functional detail while maintaining a balanced and harmonious layout. 

The dial is both composed and readable. Applied hour markers and finely shaped hands ensure clarity at a glance, while the Petrini wordmark, featuring the distinctive purple star icon offers provides subtle balance. 

This Petrini classic features a black leather strap, selected to complement the watch’s elegant appearance. The strap provides comfort and flexibility while enhancing the refined appeal of the polished case and silver dial.
